JOB DESCRIPTION:
We’re looking for tech savvy residential and commercial service plumbers that value a good customer experience. Our plumbers diagnose and determine service needs, quote prices and perform necessary repairs. Plumbers must be able to interact effectively with customers and team members equally. We need plumbers that have experience servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and installing plumbing systems and fixtures. Ideal candidates have experience with basic repairs, understand local plumbing codes, and have the ability to properly diagnose various plumbing problems. Also looking for plumbers that have experience with full-line water service replacements, as well as full-house repipes. We’re looking for team members that put safety as their highest priority.
JOB DUTIES:

Job Summary:
Coordinate the activities and training of the excavation (dig) crews. The crew leader is responsible for the coordination and operation of a crew consisting of up to 4 diverse members. The ideal candidate will also have experience operating various excavation equipment, such as a backhoe, drilling/boring machine and a bursting machine.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work effectively with supervisors and all members of the crew to ensure successful cleanings, repairs and rehabilitation of sewer, drain and conduit pipes.
- Set up traffic controls, safety equipment, and CIPP installation equipment at the job site.
- Measure, mark, and prepare CIPP materials for installation.
- Requires average problem-solving skills
- Load materials and equipment into vehicles and drive the various vehicles to and from the job site
- Assist with applying pressure in pipe system and observe connected pressure gauge to test system for leaks.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide estimates and return calls to customers with questions regarding estimates in a timely manner and log the follow up in CRM software (ServiceTitan).
- Following through on our customer commitments by managing team schedules for on-time service and responding expeditiously and compassionately to customer complaints.
- Organizes and oversees the work and schedule of Install Team and Field Supervisors.
- Achieve an overall attitude of being “On Time” with the Install Team.
- Assist management in hiring and training of Install Team and Field Supervisors.
- Assist in recruiting HVAC technicians to maintain a 2 crew minimum.
- Building and retaining a team of Best in Class talent by managing and training on Apollo Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning processes and procedures.
- Maintain a client-focused service culture.
- Goal-setting for the team and ensuring goals are reached.
- Ensures work environments are adequate and safe.
- Assess and evaluate team and individual performance.
- Maintain a yearly completed sales of $1,200,000 or more with a minimum of two (2) crews (minimum $600,000 per crew).
- Responsible for resolving all problems pertaining to their projects quickly and professionally.
- Oversees day-to-day customer facing operations for Install Team.
- Fills knowledge gaps through additional training and professional development programs.
- Provides recommendations and designs policies and procedures that will reduce costs and improve the efficiency of services.
- Improves customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes and updates.
- Provides support and guidance to Install Team to ensure timely and quality job work and completion.
- Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
- Understands, follows and leads others to comply with company policies and regulations.
- Addresses customer and client inquires, resolves issues and obtains customer and client feedback proactively on jobs and contracts.
- Encourages teamwork and creates a productive team environment.
- Works with upper management and Human Resources to implement progressive disciplinary actions.
- Ensures that Install Teams are properly trained to meet service objectives.
- Assist HR in investigating all areas of reported harassment, safety concerns or any employee/customer complaints.
- Assist in conducting HVAC department meetings in an efficient and productive manner.
- Assist in conducting performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Ensure the uniform dress code and appearance standards have been followed to project a positive and professional image to clients.
- Assist in managing employee discipline and termination as needed in accordance with company policy.
- Ensuring the management, maintenance, and security of Company assets including parts, inventory, vehicles, and machines at locations.
- At times, working hands-on in the field assisting and training your team, which may include maintenance, repairs, installations, and customer service.
- Training your team to keep safety top of mind so we can stay injury free and compliant with government regulations and company safety policies.
- Supporting growth and development within your team through mentorship, training, and exposure to other services and business functions.
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate is someone that has experience in sales, in a residential in-home environment. We are looking for someone that likes to interact with customers and solve their problems. The perfect candidate will also have experience managing their projects, providing great customer service from the first call all the way to the end of the project. We are looking for someone that is highly energetic and enthusiastic about providing excellent customer satisfaction.
- Experience managing a team of 4-10
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a field or operation position or related field with extensive and diversified background.
- Current state driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of geographical service area or map reading skills.
- Ability to understand technical procedures, equipment, and products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills that put people at ease and elicit action.
- Possess strong and effective leadership skills.
