Family-owned plumbing / drain cleaning / HVAC / sewer repair company is looking for a full-time Customer Service Rep (CSR) for our Beaverton and Troutdale office. This is a great opportunity for an experienced CSR with excellent customer service skills. To carry and load excavation materials for excavators working on projects. Assist with various labor related tasks including, but not limited to, excavation, hand-digging with a shovel and project clean up. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide estimates for repair or replacement of existing equipment or systems, including providing multiple options.
  • Provide over-the-top customer service which includes working with our customers from the estimate phase to project completion.
  • Create a positive working relationship with inspectors in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Work with customers to answer questions regarding estimates in a timely manner and log the follow up in CRM software (ServiceTitan).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Updates and maintains prospect database and opportunity funnel on a daily basis, assuring management of prospect database and assures customers’ orders are fulfilled

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Reviews status of accounts daily and initiates collection action by contacting each account according to due date. Records promises on account and schedules follow-up.
  • Assists the Accounting Manager in interpreting and resolving accounts receivable problems with clients.
  • Assists the Accounting Manager, and other appropriate staff, on research of customer discrepancies, discusses any deviation from client payment plans, obtains appropriate approvals to have open credits applied, and, in general, keeps the accounts receivable system as clean and current as possible.
  • Prepares correspondence on delinquent accounts requiring special handling.
  • Initiates appropriate follow-up action on mail returned as undeliverable.
  • Researches disputed delinquent account balances. Corrects any errors, including misapplied payments, deposit errors, and overpayments.
  • Duplicates, files, and retrieves accounts receivable material as needed.
  • Assists with printing and mailing of monthly statements to customers.
  • Processes credit applications and requests additional information when required.
  • Places accounts on COD status when warranted by established guidelines.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Excellent keyboarding skills.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Act and state and federal laws concerning collection activities.
  • Basic verbal and communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
