At Apollo Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, we have decades of experience fixing sewer lines for the residents and business owners of Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Our services have evolved beyond digging the sewer lines out of the ground to address the problem. Instead, we employ inspection techniques and tools to assist our experts in diagnosing the problems and ensure that the solutions we recommend are accurate and long-lasting. *Through accessible clean-out
To determine if the problem is simply a clog or a full-scale pipeline collapse, an accurate diagnosis is needed before repairs can begin. Our team at Apollo Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning uses state-of-the-art video camera systems to inspect pipe and sewer lines. There’s no need to turn your yard into a muddy mess by excavating. We can inspect your sewer or storm system without damaging the plumbing or landscaping.
We inspect sewers with a long fiber-optic cable and attached camera. The camera cable is fed through an access point into the sanitary or storm sewer line. The service professional will then monitor the images on a video screen. With this specialized equipment, we’re able to see clogs, cracks, tree roots, and more. If we locate damage we can electronically locate repairs that need to be addressed. Using the information gathered by the inspection, Apollo Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning’s experienced service professionals can recommend the best, most cost-effective solution.
There are several scenarios when a sewer inspection is a good idea. Here are some of the reasons you may want to look underground:
Some buildings share a sewer line. Because party lines are considered unsafe, the city requires that these systems be repaired. If your sewer taps into another system, to meet the code, you’ll need to reroute the pipes. A sewer inspection expedites repairs because a plumber can see what needs to be done before digging.
Some older systems are plagued by tree roots. Clay and cement pipes often have small leaks that allow water to seep into the surrounding soil. Trees are attracted to moisture. The roots grow into the cracks, making the damage worse. Without a sewer scope, however, it’s not possible to confirm that roots are the source of a backup. Once our plumbers find a root mass, they cut through the tangle and repair the pipe.
While inspectors are often hired to check a house before closing on a deal, Sewer inspections are included in these real-estate inspections. If you want to know about the state of your potential home’s pipes, the time to check things out is before you buy. A sewer scope can alert you to problems with the sewer system and ensure that the problem is fixed before purchasing the home.
Locating pipes is essential before a major remodel. If you’re planning on remodeling or excavating, a sewer scope coupled with the sonar location of pipes is important. With our sonar equipment, we can locate the pipes on your property before you begin digging. A sewer scope gives you further information about the state of your sewer.
Historic neighborhoods predate the public sewer system. Old homes relied on cesspools and septic systems. In some cases, these old systems were not decommissioned. If you suspect an old cesspool is creating problems, our team at Apollo Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning can inspect your pipes. When cesspools are connected to a sewer line, they can lead to a sinkhole or create other hazards once they become worn out.
With sewer camera inspections, we can not only diagnose problems, but we can also take measures to quickly repair the problem. For instance, a cracked pipe may be fixed using cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining, a trenchless method of repair. Whether your pipes need work or not, an inspection can give you peace of mind. Note: We only offer trenchless services throughout Washington and Oregon.
If you need sewer line repairs, depend on Apollo Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning for fast, reliable services. Our team of professionals can handle the task, employing spot repairs, sewer hookups, storm-line work, or installing a completely new sewer line. We can even work on your pipes without digging up your yard.
Are you dealing with black-water waste at your home or business? We can clean up and remove the unsanitary and unsightly mess. Our sewer pump ejector stations are the ideal solution for black-water waste. The ejector station converts solids to a slurry that can then be completely removed. Our plumbers work quickly, ensuring the waste is cleared away and moved to the appropriate sewage station.
Sewer repair can be messy and inconvenient when it includes digging up your property. At Apollo Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, we have no-dig methods for repairing any problem. Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining is a technique that fixes pipes without digging. It’s a long-lasting, dependable solution to repair damaged drain and sewer systems, making it an eco-friendly, affordable, and quick service. We can save you time, money, and disruption with our trenchless services.
Our team of specialists has the experience and equipment to take on industrial, commercial, and residential sanitary and storm sewer projects. We’re available 24⁄7, 365 days a year for emergency repairs, in addition to offering other services for anything our customers require.
Party sewer lines describe a home or business’s sewer line that is shared by one or more properties before entering the public sewer main line. Party sewer lines are considered non-conforming to the city codes, and because of this, they need to be upgraded to meet current standards. A party sewer line that is considered non-conforming features two or more private pipelines joining and sharing a single connecting pipe to the public sewer line.
These systems can have many problems associated with them, including:
Real-estate transaction delays
Denial of certain permits
Legal and financial complications
At Apollo Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, we offer free evaluations to determine if your home has a party sewer line installed and recommend the best way to upgrade the system, and we do this with an inspection. With a video scope, our service professionals will conduct a video sewer inspection of your sewer system and determine if it’s part of a party sewer line system.
Our video camera inspection will show the inner workings of your sewer pipe and provide the information necessary to begin adjustments or to provide proof that you are in good standing. If we find that your home or business has a guest line to the sewer party, we will assist you in the transition.
Looking to connect and install new sewer and water lines to your home or business? Since 1984, Apollo Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning has provided homeowners and businesses in the Oregon, Washington, and Idaho metro areas with new connections to their city’s waste and water systems.
Our expert service professionals service and install all types of underground connections for residences and commercial properties, including:
Sewer and water lines
Sewer line connection charges vary from area to area. The costs depend largely on the size and use of your property, as well as your local county or district regulations. When sewer lines are made available to your property, you should receive a connection notice summary of your charges. In most counties, these charges must be paid or financed before we can get a sewer connection permit. There are options for low-income property owners. Connection loans or deferrals may be available for you, and we are happy to assist with this process. At Apollo Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, our established name and reputation make us uniquely qualified to help you with your sewer or water connection permits.

Quick response to my inquiry, was able to service my needs on the same day, service technician was on time, professional, courteous and able to get the problem fixed immediately. Would recommend this business as the first to call.
We have used Apollo’s services many times in the past and every time they have provided an incredible service. Eric Buckner arrived on time and he was quick, thorough and efficient! He made sure all our concerns were addressed before leaving. He is professional and skilled. We are very satisfied with the service we received.
Apollo was able to respond right away for an urgent water heater replacement call. Their friendly tech Judah explained the options and took time to educate us so that we could make the best replacement choice. From the time we first called to the completed install was 24 hours and we couldn’t be more appreciative. Will recommend Apollo to friends and family.
Prompt, professional service. Mike was a great service provider, friendly and very knowledgeable he was able to complete our job in less than an hour.. I would call Apollo again if we were to need a service that they provide.
They did an amazing job with the clogging I had in my kitchen sink line. Eric B was the man who helped me out today he provided great customer service while keeping me knowledgeable on the subject and how not to allow it again. Would definitely recommend going with Apollo and Eric B in particular I’m sure they will fix your problem!
Sean Kenyon came out to clear a clogged toilet yesterday ( 11.15.23) . He called before coming to ensure that I was available and aware that he would be at my house in 30 minutes which was very much appreciated. Sean was professional and quick before I knew It he was done and the toilet was cleared. Sean was also pretty friendly and gave great customer service by being willing to answer my question and make sure I was aware of what he was doing. Thank you Sean and good luckSherry Smith
I am very impressed with the quick response to our furnace problem. Our technician went above and beyond to answer question and share information regarding our problem. He was very accessible by phone or text anytime we needed to ask a question.
The work is good. They are upfront about what they will do. Left no mess. Had them do plumbing for a leak with the shower drain. Will say they opened the dry wall up, but does not offer dry wall replacement. Happy with the service, it has been 2 days and no leak yet.
My furnace died, so I called Apollo. I just can't say enough good things about this business!! From the first phone call where they found a tech to come out right away (in an already full schedule), to the final installation of my new furnace and air conditioner - they were amazing! I would, however, like to say an extra THANK YOU to Dave N. who did my quote, answered all my silly questions, kept checking on me while I waited for the install crew (which got scheduled immediately!), made sure I was snug and warm afterwards, and then answered my call about my water heater (which he did NOT have to do). And to Dennis who was in charge of the install (all in one day!) and came back, from his home, on a Saturday, to fix a problem with my water heater (which he, also, did NOT have to do). Oh yeah, the business office, too - Isabelle and Kristin you know who you are...OK I'm gushing, because I need to be able to convey the kind of company this is. If you need help, CALL APOLLO!!!!!
From my initial call for a plumber on a Sunday afternoon our experience was excellent. Prompt and knowledgeable service. Friendly people. Would recommend them highly 👌. Cameron Cooper was informative and easy to work with. He cleaned up further than I had anticipated. thanks Cameron - from Becky T.
We had a problem with our garbage disposal that left us with a sink filled with unpleasant water. This happened on a Thursday. We called several plumbers and nobody could get to us before Monday. Apollo was here at 10 am on Friday. Actually, 9:30 am as the extremely polite plumber finished another job early. He promptly fixed our problem, gave us some great advice - no more egg shells in the garbage disposal - and charged a reasonable price. He also went above and beyond by tiding up the area under our sink. We now plan to use Apollo for plumbing, heating, and when they are ready, electrical needs. Highly recommended.
I recently contacted Apollo Plumbing to correct a bit of shoddy work done by the original home builder which resulted in a major leak in my crawlspace. I have known of Apollo for decades and decided to go with this company for their length of service and reputation. I was very glad I did. My experience was better than you can hope for considering the choices. Rob was my service technician and is without a doubt the nicest, most professional techs you could want to work on your home. He was very reassuring, happy to answer all my pesky technical questions, and his work is impeccable. The peace of mind after seeing the job done was priceless. Speaking of prices, I found the cost of this repair very reasonable. I give Apollo Plumbing my highest recommendation. Give them a call.
What can I say about Eric Buckner that hasn't already been said? My dude was awesome at messaging me about his arrival, gave some helpful recommendations, and fixed our toilet in under a couple of hours. Most importantly, our dog Raisin seemed to take a shine to him, and isn't that what it's really about?
My kitchen sink had a very bad blockage. Two plumbers gave me estimates of $595 and $650. Apollo plumbing estimate was $84. And they assured me they would clear the blockage. Devin Pace cleared the drain in about 20 or so minutes. Amazing job. Devin was so personable. He cleaned the drain. Wiped down the kitchen sink bottom. I was so happy to have a working sink. Thank you Devin and I promise not to put pumpkin skin, even though it was a very small pumpkin in my garbage disposal. Hope you have a blessed day.
I was able to get an appointment right away for a plugged up drain that was causing water to leak into our garage and down the driveway. What a mess! Eric B. did a great job. He was friendly and professional. He answered all my questions. I was so pleased with the work that I purchased their maintenance contact for our heating and cooling systems. You can't go wrong with that! Whether it's an emergency or not, this is the place to call. I know I will.
Apollo was fantastic. Totally professional from the first phone call to the final invoice. Becky quickly and accurately took notes of what needed to be repaired. Kurt arrived very timely and made the repairs. He even went beyond just the repairs and did some additional maintenance to better ensure longevity of the repair. Natalie was quick to communicate scheduling and when Kurt would arrive. If you need repairs or maintenance on home necessities, you absolutely will not regret going with Apollo Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning.
The installer was VERY professional, it was obvious he had alot of experience and really knew what he was doing, I would recommend this company to anyone with plumbing, or heating trouble. I've dealt with them for years and always been 100% happy when finished
Kurt Wood was everything I could ask for. He was friendly, thoughtful, thorough, professional and addressed the problem with skill and knowledge. The original installation was not done properly, but he was able to diagnose the problem and correct the critical settings. I was very pleased with the service.
Justus McCabe was the plumber that came out to our home. We explained the issue we had and he explained options we had. Also told us about a monthly option that had several benefits. He is very personable and very professional. He got right to work and did an amazing job. He cleaned up his area, got everything put back into place. I have never hired a plumber before, and Justus will be the only one I will ever have again.
Special shout out to Devin who was the initial person who came out to figure out what was causing water to back up in my parents washer and sink; Daniel who had to be called in as Devin assessed it may be more than just a clog; Peter and Joey who came to do the re-piping because my parents' pipes had more than 50+ years of gunk and leaks in the original pipes. All were extremely professional (on time, respected of the house in terms of clean up, answering my many questions.) Would definitely recommend.
Don't bother with other companies just call Apollo! We had initially contacted Cornell plumbing for a quote but they tried to take advantage of us. We then contacted Apollo following a recommendation from a friend that saw them listed as a preferred vendor at work. They came $1000 under the quote from Cornell so it was a no brainier. We told them go for it and they had the repair done in I think about an hour. They replaced a damaged pipe section in our meter box. Oh and if it wasn't enough value they actually provided a 1 year warranty on the repair which was not something Cornell would give us. Couldn't be happier and will definitely be inquiring about additional services in the future!
Monday:Our tech was on time and professional. Only gave them 4 stars because we couldn’t get the work performed today due to a supply issue. However, I will re-visit this review once the job is executed.Tuesday:Our tech, Jonathan Rowlett showed up today and explained the job again, walking me through everything before he started. It was a smooth install and he checked in frequently to advise us and involved us in bleeding the lines. As all projects go, unforeseen circumstances dictated a trip to the hardware store, but he stayed with it and worked late on Halloween night. Everything was solidly executed and we had hot water before he was even done packing up his tools. I would recommend them if price isn’t an issue for you. We paid for quality and we got it.
Apollo hit it out of the park! From Clark’s evaluation and recommendations to Tom and Mack’s work, I am extremely pleased with the level of detail and explanations along the way. You have a customer for life!Keith
Eli was excellent. He called in the earliest part of the quoted window, arrived 15 minutes after calling, understood the problem and applied a systematic approach to solving it. He was friendly and informative throughout.
Technician Mr Spring answered my questions including those about Apollo’s 3 year membership program; I enrolled because it seemed to be good; time will further support or not that opinion. He found a small sponge left under gas burners; last time furnace was opened for cleaning was 2 years ago by a different furnace/ duct cleaning company. Obviously I’ll not have service from that company again! And lastly my husband and I were impressed with photos taken showing gas valve numbers and more. This should be helpful possibly if furnace fails and technician will have furnace’s prior data.😀
Everyone I've worked with has been excellent and knowledgeable. I appreciate follow-up phone calls after quotes and timely service. We've hired them for clogged gutter drains and flushing sewer lines for the condo community. Devin and Wayne are great technicians.
Nate from Apollo plumbing really helped me out, he was incredibly professional, skilled and really made my feel comfortable with the service. I used them for my hvac repair as well. I couldn’t recommend this company any higher! Thanks Nate!
Bradley from Apollo got to the house much earlier than scheduled but that was great. Instead of waiting around, we got started right away. He took a look at the situation and gave me a range of options and prices. Apollo is not your cheapest option but there aren't high pressure sales tactics either. We went with a reasonable option and Bradley got the job in a quick and professional manner. He walked me through the various things he did and what other potential problems he saw in the plumbing system. I really appreciated his honesty and candor and would definitely recommend him and Apollo for plumbing work.
Sean & Kyle were on time professional and polite. They didn't even charge me because the problem I called about turned out to be no issue. I will definitely use Apollo in the future. Thank you Apollo and especially Sean & Kyle for the outstanding service!
Eric was very helpful! He was on time, friendly, and explained things clearly. He not only fixed our current issue but offered preventative measures to keep the plumbing running smoothly in the future. Thanks Eric!
Absolutely the best service of our HVAC system. The technician was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient! I was able to tackle everything from Arizona for my Mom's residence since she has hearing problems. I'd recommend this company to anybody looking for quality service!
Eric was on time, polite, professional, and dare we say, even delightful. He resolved our plumbing issues and although we hope to never have to call Apollo again, wouldn’t hesitate if needed. Highly recommend Apollo & Eric!
Just a quick word of appreciation for Bryan at Apollo. He was friendly, clearly knew his stuff, gave advice on how to avoid future problems, and was just a pro all the way around. I’d happily hire him/Apollo again when the next plumbing issue comes up.
Deven, don't know his last name hopefully you only have one Devan; he was the kind and generous young man that came and unplugged my shower It was a big mess with good from the garbage disposal backed up he even clean the good out. He came prepared with shoe covering he was putting on before he even rong the doorbell He was great and needs a gift card for lunch or somethingaybe a raise would be sufficient
On Saturday, we called Apollo for an emergency service. Thankfully, Eric was here within an hour and a half and he was great! Eric explained everything very clearly, was super efficient and professional. We will definitely use them again in the future (knock on wood).
I’ve had repeated good experiences with Apollo and my recent service was no exception. I was able to get same-day service from a qualified technician who was able to diagnose and resolve an out-of-the-ordinary problem quickly, for a very reasonable fee. All the technicians I’ve met have been kind and knowledgeable. I don’t plan on ever using any other plumbing service.
Keith and his partner were prompt, pleasant and professional and the drain cleaning was reasonably priced. Thanks! Next time, I would prefer to pay with Apple Pay rather than sharing my credit card information.
Jonathan Rowlett did a fabulous job flushing my water heater and helped me appreciate the value of maintaining it. He went above and beyond and fixed my ADA ramp that helps me get my mom in and out of the house. I’m so appreciative of the quality work and people of Apollo!
Tyler was very knowledgeable and provided us with multiple options. I appreciated his honesty and lack of pressure. I believed him when he shared that their goal is to create more than just a sale but instead a customer for life.
